As well as skiing and all training activities I am a keen rock climber, something which I pursue during the summer months, both local to home in the lake district and sometimes further a field.

Have in past received a one of payment from local company- no particular exposure requested.

Other funding (including methods of self funding)

TASS scholarship for the last three years, also a small sports aid grant the year before.

Main funding for skiing through working through the summer months as a climbing wall instructor and family support

Personal interest information

First started skiing age four with my father in the areas local to where I am from (an artificial ski slope and on the hills through winter). This then developed over the years until I became a member of the Development squad aged 13. Since then I have been part of the development squad structure and witnessed great improvements in my skiing.

Being part of this brilliant team has taught my a lot about skiing and sport in general, as well as having a great impact in other areas of my life such as time management and organisation.

After a great season this year I am looking towards the World under 23 Championships in Hinterzarten Germany in January. Good performances here will more than make all the hard work of the summer and autumn worthwhile!
