Fiona Hughes (19) from Huddersfield was in excellent form on Sunday 30 December 2009, taking a well deserved 2nd place in the Ladies 5km Junior Classic at Campra. Callum Smith (17) from Inverurie wins the Under 18 title in the Campra10km Classic in Switzerland on Sunday 30 December 2009 with a typical battling preformance, to cement his continued progress this season. Seasons Greetings to all followers of BNDS and the British Nordic Ski Team.Roy Young emailed the other day to praise the BNDS Development Squad and coaches who had just completed their training camp before xmas. Some are staying on and will be joined by others arriving from the UK to prepare for the New Year races.
Skiers at home seem to be enjoying the current conditions with good skiing to be had in the forest...
